Admissions RepresentativeBay State College located in Bostons Back Bay is a private college whose mission is to provide students with a quality education that prepares them for professional careers and increasing levels of higher education.
We currently have on opening for an Admissions Representative.
We are seeking an electric individual who is enthusiastic, professional, and possesses a strong desire to succeed.
Reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, this individual will be responsible for following up on student inquiries with outbound calling to set appointments with students and parents, interviewing and enrolling students, and follow-up with student and parents to complete the enrollment process.
Overall responsibility is to create interest in our college, qualify and enroll students, and complete the enrollment process to ensure the student successfully starts their college education at Bay State.
You will be joining a team that is committed and passionate about changing lives.
Requirements: 2-3 years successful sales-marketing and/or recruiting experience.
Self-starter who is highly motivated and results-driven with a strong desire to succeed.
Ability to achieve daily, weekly and monthly calling volume, interview and enrollment goals.
Outgoing, confident personality with a professional attitude.
Conduct a high level of contact with potential students through various means of communication, involving not only telephone, email, letters and meetings, requires excellent communication skills.
Skills: Ability to meet goals with little supervision and guidanceStrong organizational and time-management skills with consistent follow-up.
Ability to present information clearly and be persuasive with a positive attitude.
Learn new skills quickly and utilize them effectively.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
This position will require some evenings and Saturdays.
Sales and/or education experience is preferred but we are willing to train exceptional candidates.
