The Sacramento-area Catholic Healthcare West administrative offices, located in Rancho Cordova, CA, serve as support for many of the services necessary throughout the Sacramento service area Mercy hospitals, including: Mercy General Hospital, Mercy San Juan Medical Center, Methodist Hospital, Mercy Hospital of Folsom, Woodland Healthcare and Sierra Nevada Memorial.
Departments located within the administrative office include: Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Home Health, Hospice and LifeLine, Human Resources, Legal, Managed Care Contracting, Marketing Communications, Mercy Foundation, Patient Financial Services, Payroll and Risk Management.

QUALS: Bachelors degree in nursing, business or equivalent or a combination of knowledge and experience.
Current California Registered Nursing License.
Five years experience in utilization review and discharge planning case management and managed care.
Masters Degree and/or case management certifications preferred.
The successful candidate must have knowledge in: --JCAHO and state and federal regulations --Coding, documentation, DRGs --Case Management of capitated at-risk patients --Theoretical concepts of nursing --Nursing practice standards --CQI methods --Medicare, MediCal and private insurance, Capitation, including physician implication.
SCOPE: The Utilization Management Liaison is responsible for improving care management coordination between Greater Sacramento Service Area hospital staff and affiliated medical groups and IPAs.
Provides clinical oversight of relationships between Mercy and contracted network providers.
