RECRUITMENT ASSISTANT (Human Resources, Full-time) Job in Medford 02155
Cambridge Health Alliance is a nationally recognized, award-winning health care system that serves the residents of Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Metro-North region.
It is comprised of The Cambridge Hospital, Somerville Hospital, Whidden Memorial Hospital, the Cambridge Public Health Department, more than 20 primary care practices and Network Health - a statewide managed Medicaid health plan.
The role of the full-time Recruitment Assistant is to provide administrative and clerical support that promotes the efficient operation of the Human Resources Employment Unit, especially in activities focused on recruitment.
He/she will provide a customer service oriented interface for employees, staff and visitors who communicate with and seek services from the department.
Primary duties include but are not limited to: * Conducting reference checks on finalists* Preparing offer letters*Maintaining control of the hiring documentation throughout the hiring process*Coordinating orientation schedule for new hires*Effectively utilize Kenexa (ATS) to track candidates through Employment Process*Communicates consistently and frequently with hiring managers and provides updated information as needed.
*Responsible for HR Reception phone coverage on a rotating basis*Meets with new hires to complete all necessary hiring paperwork*Assists with monthly new employee orientation program*Provides support at job fairs*Communicates consistently and frequently with hiring managers and provides updated information with regard to the pre-employment process High School Diploma/GED RequiredBA/BS Strongly PreferredA minimum o
1. 3 years experience in administrative support required.
HR experience strongly preferred.
Experience working in a customer service capacity or skills acquired through a formal training program required.
Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Applications, sufficient to perform work processing and spreadsheet functions, maintain organizational and employment files and database with a minimum of 25 typed, malleable words per minute required.
Experience with Internet based applications required.
The Employee must be able to work in a fast paced, team environment and possess the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
In addition, they must possess organizational and prioritization skills with a strong orientation towards providing high quality customer service.
Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.The position requires sustained periods of sitting, the ability to travel independently to CHA facilities, communicate with employees and candidates, and to utilize a computer.
Incumbents must have the ability to evaluate and process data in a timely manner and to make decisions.
