Quality Engineer Job in Morton Grove 60053, Illinois US
The individual in this role will be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance by leading and participating in all quality initiatives and other task forces, maintaining compliance with FDA, troubleshooting issues, direct personnel on quality assurance activities (training and inspection), and reviewing new material for potential quality and compatibility issues.
Manages Quality continuous improvement initiatives.
Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for Manufacturing Processes.
Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
Directs front line Associates in matters related to quality.
Monitors new items to ensure system data is accurate.
Engages vendors to improve component qualityBachelor's degree (technical degree preferred)2-7 years of related experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem solving skillsHands on approach to problem solvingWillingness to work hands on with front line Associates
