Quality Control Inspector Job in Idaho Falls , Idaho US
Position requires an Associates degree or 2+ years of formal technical training or demonstrated equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in area of specialization.
Multi-discipline experience helpful.
Position requires strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to meet deadlines, work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Position may require the ability to pass/maintain a security clearance.
Job Description: Washington Division of URS has an exceptional career opportunity for a Quality Inspector with the ability to perform quality inspections for facility construction and equipment installations.
Scope: Provides planned and systematic actions necessary to provide adequate confidence that an item or a facility will perform satisfactorily in service.
Includes all aspects of quality assurance, which provides a means of control and measures the characteristics of an item, process or facility to established requirements.
Essential job duties include: Electrical, mechanical and general inspections, electrical penetration installation, and conduit installation.
Understand and interpret specifications and drawings.
Work will include visual, liquid penetrates, magnetic particles, ultrasonic thickness testing, eddy current, leak testing, and radiographic examinations.
