Quality Assurance Engr II Job in Ft. Wayne 46801, Indiana US
Job Description: Raytheon is currently seeking a Quality Engineer I I to join our Mission Assurance team at the Network Centric Systems (NCS) operation located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Raytheon NCS, headquartered in McKinney, Texas, develops and produces mission solutions for networking, command and control, battle space awareness, and air traffic management.
The successful candidate will provide support in a dynamic engineering and development environment.
Roles and responsibilities will include: Verify and accept work products prior to release Conduct process/product audits and inspections.
Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives Interface with program quality engineers and internal customers Participate in Model Shop planning/requirements identification Perform first article inspection Analyze drawings and data packages Inspect incoming raw material Required Skills: Two to four years of experience in the hardware quality assurance or hardware engineering field Experience with hardware development processes Experience conducting quality assessments/inspections of developed hardware Experience with Material Review Board, Configuration Control Board processes Ability to receive a security clearance Desired Skills: Mechanical engineering degree Military experience a plus Familiarity with ISO 9001:2000 and/or AS9100/AS9006 Quality Systems Familiarity with the SEI Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI).
