Quality Assurance Auditor Job in Farmingdale 11735, New York US

We are seeking a detail oriented individual who is driven and focused on quality to join our team as Quality Assurance Auditor.
You will contribute to organizational success by ensuring that ICON Central Laboratories and its employees are following all federal, state, local and study-specific guidelines by conducting audits of internal departments.
In addition, you will host client audits, provide a focus for all client QA issues, as well as coordinate and monitor our customer service process.
You will also participate in managing our vendor and quality system.
The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS in a scientific and or quality related field along with at least 1 year of experience in a quality assurance department.
Auditing experience and knowledge of clinical laboratory terminology, clinical trials, and/or the pharmaceutical industry are highly desirable.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, presentation and facilitation skills are required to be successful in this role.
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, laboratory science, ISO regulations, GCP, CAP, and other FDA regulations is preferred.
