Quality Assurance Analyst Job in 33324
DescriptionOne of South Florida's fastest growing Internet/New Media companies is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented Software Quality Assurance Analyst who understands the unique needs of Internet and Web Applications in their Plantation, Florida office.

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for reviewing new feature requirements for accuracy, comprehensiveness and QA planning.
Will be responsible for reviewing end user requirements and problem reports for QA planning.
Will develop test plans for new enhancements and production fixes.
Will be responsible for developing and running regression tests for software releases, as well as ongoing production support.
Duties and Responsibilities: · Participates in planning and review of new releases and feature sets.
· Works with Development Leaders & Project Managers to review scope documents, use cases and timelines.
· Works with End users to help better define new feature requests· Works with End users to insure accurate definition of problem reports and to develop pre and post production testing plans.
· Develops test plans for all new features and production support fixes.
· Becomes an expert in all system functions from lead generation to customer acquisition to billing to customer retention.
· Will work with IT Leaders to develop a process for testing in a Rapid Application development environment that includes testing both pre and post launch.
Required Qualifications: · Bachelors degree in technical field· 3-5 years applicable experience· Must be extremely detailed and organized· Must be a high-energy person with a passion for quality· Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills· Must work well with multiple teams and customers· Must have experience with Internet Marketing· Must have experience in testing web applications· Must have strong Microsoft Office skills Word, Excel, Powerpoint· Skill using Microsoft Project or other technologies· Must be able to write detailed test plans· Must have experience using Issue/Defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)· Must have strong analytical and problem solving abilities· Prior QA experience is a plus· Experience with Cell Phones and Text Messaging is a plus· Use of off-the-shelf testing tools such as Mercury or Selenium and load testing tools a strong plus If you are looking for a challenging and exciting work environment and would like to join one of the hottest Internet companies in South Florida, we want to hear from you!
