Quaker Foods & Snacks-Marketing Senior Analyst Job Job in Chicago, Illinois US
DescriptionThe Marketing Senior Analyst (MSA) will work closely with the Marketing Manager in the Channels Innovation team, to identify and define new innovation ideas for a specific channel.
The idea will be build uppon brand, customer and deep shopper understanding.
The MSA will closely partner with the sales organization to make business recommendations that translate into incremental growth and will lead the cross functional team through the commercialization process.
- Collect, analyze and interpret data on the 4 Cs (Consumer, customer, competitors and channel)- Collaborate with sales to develop winning marketing strategies and tactics for the channel- Partner with finance to make informed decisions that result in maximizing profitability- Make innovation and business recommendations to deliver volume, revenue and profit growth- Manage cross functional team through commercialization process including overcoming obstacles (ie forecasting, production trials, communication, etc.)Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience preferredMinimum of 3 years of marketing experience: - Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to create strategic recommendations- Ability to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams- Passion for driving results- Creative problem solving- Business performance understanding, including the different components of the P&L- Strong written and verbal skills- Ability to move project forward with limted resources and in an ambiguous enviornmentChannel Innovation is a fantastic opportunity to deliver rapid and significant business results by leveraging all the major components of marketing: brands, innovation and shopper/customer.
