QC Chemist Job in Tampa 33610, Florida US
Quality Control Chemist/Analyst SUMMARYTo effectively manage time and accurately test and evaluate results for raw material, in process, and finished products.
To be a team player and work well on his/her own initiative.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test raw material, in process and finished products
Manage Stability Study for product line
Write SOP & STP
Write specifications for purchasing and testing raw materials,
Write specification for testing finished products
Maintain laboratory instruments, including HPLC, infrared spectroscopy
Conduct OOS, manufacturing, and customer complaint investigation
Liaise with outside testing laboratory as required
Train new employees
Any other duties EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Preferably a Bachelors degree (BSc.
) or equivalent
2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be fluent in English, and have good oral, written & listening skills
Must have excellent computer skills Word, Outlook, Excel
