Purchasing Manager Job in Columbia, South Carolina US
- Bachelor's Degree Basic Function: Participates in cross-functional teams to develop strategy to guide and manage strategic commodity supply chains to achieve product cost targets, continuity of supply, capacity flexibility and delivery performance to support the hospital's requirements.
Monitor and enforce procurement related policies and procedures.
Requires being able to negotiate / work with senior management, both internal and external.
Studies market trends, interviews vendors, and recommends sources of supply.
Supervises and directs the buyers within Materials Management.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, purchasing, engineering, science or a related field Five or more years in a procurement environment Preferred Qualifications: CPM or C.RMM Management experience HR Use Only: Monster
