Provider Relations Representative - Elkridge, MD Position Description: Positions in this function are involved in building and maintaining strong relationships with network providers as well as potential network providers through regular interaction.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience2 years of claims experience is required2 years of experience presenting in front of an audience is required3-5 years of experience working provider relations or network management is required3-5 years experience working directly with Physicians and provider practices is requiredIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)3-5 years of analyzing, Tracking and Trending client dataValid Driver's License, reliable automobile and current insuranceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsSuperior problem solving abilityProficiency in analyzing and interpreting data with ability to explain data in understandable and useable fashionAbility to use innovative approaches to achieving performance targetsCapable facilitation skills with ability to motivate and influence others; ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with individuals and groupsAbility to effectively multi-task and manage a variety of complex issues Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
