Project Manager III - Medical Background Job in Minneapolis, Minnesota US
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and execution of projects from conception to completion.
Essential Functions also include: Manages more complex and larger budget projects with minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgmentMentors project managers with less project experienceSeeks out emerging industry best practices and takes initiative to improve process and productivityThe minimum requirements to qualify for this position are as follows: Medical backgroundMinimum of a BA/BS degree and at least 3-5 years of experience (experience or certification may be substituted for education)Highly-skilled with extensive proficiencyBroad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skillsExtensive experience in various SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) methodologies (waterfall, agile, etc.)Previous experience with project methodologies and best practicesExtensive experience in grants, resource allocation, scheduling, and budgetsHigh tolerance for ambiguityAbility to work with geographically remote teams (work will be done with a development team in India)Certifications and Experience Qualifications: PMP (Project Management Professional)AHIP (America's Health Insurance Plans) Designations (i.
e., LTCP - passed the LTC I, II, III, and IV exams; HIPAA Associate, HIPAA Professional, etc.)Microsoft Office, especially Project, Excel, and VisioExperience with the concepts of the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge)
