Project Manager Consultant, Vice President - Lean Master Job in Quincy 02171, Massachusetts US
Description: The Project Manager Consultant (Lean Master) effectively supports the global adoption of Lean at State Street by leading Lean Wave activities (including but not limited to: Interviews, Value Stream Mapping, Data Collection, Workshops, etc.), creating status reports and managing risks and issues.
Responsibilities include: - Leads Lean design Waves to assess current state, define target state and identify roadmap for identified Lean initiatives.
- Coaches, facilitates, and trains others in Lean principles across the organization driving significant business impact and culture change.
- Provides mentoring and training to others.
- Manages Wave execution including scope and resources.
- Coordinates and creates materials for checkpoints, including kick-off.
- Creates status reports.
- Manages risks and issues.
- Identifies and uses best practices for project management.
- Clearly communicates both verbally and in written format.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitates a collaborative solution.
Qualifications: Qualifications Include: - Bachelors degree in business, finance or science-related field.
- At least 10 years experience successfully running diverse cross-functional teams and projects.
- At least 4 years experience managing Lean design projects.
- Very strong interpersonal, influencing and project management skills.
- Very strong relationship management, negotiation and communication skills.
Additional Skills include: - Ability to travel globally for extended periods of time.
- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and have the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience presenting Lean initiatives to senior management and experience conducting ROI analysis for potential and existing projects.
