Aclara Software is seeking a high-energy,customer-focused Project Manager tojoin our Professional Services team in our Tempe, AZ or Reston, VA (justoutside Washington, DC), offices.
Weare looking for a dynamic person who truly appreciates delivering high-qualitysystem implementations to ensure satisfied customers.
The successful candidate will have experience in providing serviceswithin the utility field and be knowledgeable about metering, billing, andsettlement.

Responsibilities: Work closely with customers andthe implementation team to deliver successful implementationsProvide insight into enhancing our customers billing,metering and settlement processesGather business and functional requirementsPrepare functional designs of product interfaces,configurations and customizationsPerform data analysis Prepare test plansManage test cycle executionDevelop training material andconduct client training coursesManage project staff includingbusiness/system analysts and systems engineersManage customer interactions andensure satisfaction while minimizing project riskManage implementation schedules toensure on-time deliveryManagefinancial responsibility of projects to guarantee on-budget delivery The successfulapplicant will possess the following qualifications: Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred2-5 years of directly relevantexperience managing the implementation of complex software applications withinthe energy industry requiredBig 4 or other major consulting firm within an energypractice is a plusExperience implementing data-intensive software systems inan enterprise environment necessaryClient facing experience and relationship-building skills amustDemonstrated verbal, written, and presentation skills andstrong analytical skillsFamiliarity with relational databases, such as Oracle andSQL ServerWilling and able to travel about25-40% of the timeCertifications: PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP)or the ability to obtain certification within 6 monthsFamiliarity with TIBCO and web services interactions is a plus AclaraSoftware offers excellent salaries, medical, dental, 401K and much more in adynamic, fast-paced environment.
