Project Accountant Job in Dallas, Texas US
The Accountant's responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: -Prepare and review monthly journal entries and salary allocations.
-Help with monthly financial close.
-Responsible for branch flow of AR, AP, contracts and payroll.
-Verify branch labor control compliance on all projects monthly.
-Ensure accuracy of inventory status and fixed assets.
-Ensure all projects are correctly billed by contract terms and conditions monthly.
-Reconcile contract amounts and verify actual and estimated costs.
Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following requirements: -Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field highly preferred -construction accounting a plus -2-5 years of accounting experience with strong job costing experience -Good oral and written communication skills to effectively deal with all levels of management and with outside business contacts.
