Program Scheduler ATK Advanced WeaponsPlymouth, MN 55442Job SummaryThe Program Scheduler will assist the project manager with planning and monitoring all aspects of a Department of Defense (DOD) contract.
The program scheduler will prepare base schedules, perform schedule reviews, monthly schedule update analysis, time impact analysis, investigate and analyze schedule impacts (what-if analysis).
Submit IMS CDRLs on contracts when required.
Interface with Government representatives as needed.
Requirements Advanced skills using MS Project and Open Plan; Knowledge of and history using Primavera; Able to work with project teams to develop schedule(s); Understanding of resource loading and earned value management systems; Experienced in identifying project trends and risk; Experience in developing mitigation strategies to avoid problems and minimize risks; Excellent organizational, time management, written, verbal, and communication skills.
Additionally, the Program Scheduler will develop and maintain program schedule, manage an integrated cost and scheduling database.
This person will have an understanding of industry practices (ISO, CMMI), processes, and standards (DOD DI-MGMT-81650) in developing schedules.
Resource load schedules when required, and establish a Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
Identify potential problems early to program mangement and team using CPM (critical path method), Total Float anaylsis, Target File Utilization (baselines), and BEI (Baseline Execution Index).
Perform what-if analysis what applicable.
