The Program Manager assumes overall responsibility of the day program for Adult Day Program participants.
Supervises and evaluates all staff.
Organizes, implements, and coordinates the daily operations of the adult day center in accordance with participants' needs and any mandatory requirements.
Requirements: Bachelors degree with a minimum of two years experience in direct care of elderly or chronically disabled personsA minimum of two years experience in an administrative leadership role Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing Responsibilities: · Ensures smooth and safe daily operations.
· Daily and weekly staffing scheduling.
· Develop, implement, coordinate and evaluate multi-disciplinary health care plan for each Adult Day Program Participant.
· Ensure compliance and train staff on all existing health and safety standards and regulations that apply to Adult Day Health Programs in Massachusetts, including compliance with OSHA regulations for blood bourn pathogens and assisting staff to get Hepatitis B testing.
· Recruit, hire, train educate, supervise and evaluate all program staff.
· Ensure DMA required in-service trainings are fulfilled.
· Responsible to ensure compliance of all ADH policies and procedures.
· Assume the role of coordinator in the admissions process and in conjunction with the Social Worker and Nurse, ensure efforts are always in place to maintain optimal census.
· Assist in the coordination of transportation services.
· In conjunction with the Director of Adult Day Services, monitor budgetary spending.
· Ensure all required reporting is complete.
· Ensure outreach plan is in place.
