thomsonreuters.com / Description: The MIS Billing & Collections team is responsible for strategic projects for Order to Cash systems and processes.

The Program Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management as well as strategic projects including migrations and upgrades.

This position will be directly responsible as the Program Director for all work for the management, technology ownership, and strategic direction of the strategic Product Master solution being implemented in Thomson Reuters Markets.

Specifically this role will manage the efforts around this space utilizing the SAP Material Master as the driving technology being utilized for the this space and its use in SAP and legacy systems while establishing the governance, strategic and tactical solutions in this space required by TRM. Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Defines, documents and delivers large-scale programs of work.

Actively participates in all phases of the project.

Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the program.

Defines and champions a method of working to manage the business strategy for the program including creation of B&IC submissions and obtaining appropriate approvals for strategy decisions.

Defines and champions a method of working to ensure there is an effective, representative and accurate business steer for the active elements of the program (ie ensuring project governance is put in place to support delivery of the strategy).Has effective control, leadership and responsibility for the defined scope of the program - including program level change control.

Develops and leads the process for dealing with rapid major change.

Ensures the communication channels and processes are in place to notify the relevant people so that plans can be amended, and the necessary action taken.

Provides thought leadership on appropriateness of tools and process to project goals.

Influences Program sponsor to set and modify program scope in response to external influences.

Modifies personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstance.

Ensures appropriate sponsorship.

Education: Bachelor degree with recommended 8 years relevant experience or non-bachelor degree holder with recommended 12 years relevant experience.

Required Skills: In addition, professional certification such as PMP from the Project Management Institute is highly desirable.

Experience must demonstrate managing large-scale projects or program to successfully deliver within specified timescales and budget.

Able to demonstrate ability to deal with major change and ambiguity.

Order to cash systems experience a plus (CRM, order management systems, SAP) Desired Skills: Knowledge and understanding of Thomson Reuters, the market it competes in and its strategic objectives.

Consulting experience with a large consulting firm (3+ years).

Extensive knowledge of Product Master technologies and processes required.
