CitizenReports to: VP ProgramsClearance: Preferred at start, will require Secret or aboveSummary: Experienced Program Manager with familiarity of software processes, manufacturing experience, and the requirements needed to lead a Type 1 Development Programs.
Provides leadership to development of programs of high risk and complexity.
Leads transitions from development to production and acts as the primary customer interface.
Primarily responsible for project planning, scheduling and execution to cost, schedule and technical constraints.
Leads proposal activities including technical, managerial and cost volumes.
Provides periodic progress reports to senior management.
Leads integrated cross-functional teams.
Ensures delivered products are of high quality.
Keeps senior management apprised of issues, major concerns and accomplishes.
Responsible for directly related business development for development projects under the control.
Qualification Requirements: Education: · BS in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
· MBA preferred· DoD security clearance a plusExperience: · 7 years electronics software or systems engineering design experience· Electronics products history experience Skills: · Strong technical background including detailed design· Strong team formation and maintenance ability· Strong communication and leadership skills Essential Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: (% of time)· Develop and maintain program master schedule, financial plan, and risk management plan· Hold periodic program technical and team meetings· Assist new business development with pursuit of new business· Develop and maintain program management plan· Maintain excellent customer relationships· Lead new business proposal tasks Employees must be US citizens, without dual citizenship in another country.
