Adhere to documented work instructions utilizing AutoMode ( Siemens proprietary software for hearing aid shell fabrication )) software to model the shell and plan the placement and layouts of components for the hearing instrument.
Follow order specific customer instructions in addition to documented procedures for each order.
Maintain a smooth flow of work thru the e-planning process.
Identify any bottlenecks and work with supervisor to solve.
Act as the lead in troubleshooting e-planning related problems encountered by other e-planners.
Perform all position activities in a manner that meets company performance expectations and behavior expectations.
Maintain good employee relations and communication with co-workers and supervisors
Work with appropriate people to resolve these problems in accordance with company policy.
Notify supervisor of any discrepancies or problems encountered with an order that they are unable to resolve.
Position Requirements:
The Production Tech must posses the ability to read, interpret, communicate and follow oral and written procedures and instructions in English.
Must be able to pass a basic Human Ear Anatomy test.
Must be able to visualize, think and reason in three dimensions while manipulating 3D computer images utilizing a keyboard and mouse.
A high level of manual dexterity as well as a high aptitude in spatial relations and abstract reasoning are essential for success in this position.
Upon adequate training, the Production Tech must pass certification and maintain competency and re-certification in: e-planning, collision detection, GAPS, SHIPS, 3D Viewer and all other position related software and processes as required.
This individual is a resource for other Production Techs, and therefore must act as a lead person and be capable of dealing with issues and resolving discrepancies that arise in the course of the job.
3 to 5 years Hearing Industry experience preferred.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
