Every location offers an environment that values each of its employees!Job Description This position is responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing operations from raw materials to finish goods, as well as across the production teams.
Incumbent will have responsibility to achieve safety, quality, customer service, productivity, efficiency, cost, and OEE objectives through both individual and team contributions.
Provide direction, leadership, development, and support to direct reports through empowerment, teamwork, on-the-job assignments and continuous improvement initiatives.
Engage technicians in decision making.
Provide leadership in the high performance work culture, and foster a learning environment that requires involvement and personal accountability.
Job duties include: Plan and execute equipment training to insure proper maintenance and sanitation Identify best practices and provide an action plan for communication and integration.
Audit yield loss and investigate trends to minimize/eliminate waste.
Facilitate a cross-shift team for process improvement initiatives, and process uniformity Educate employees about production financial KPIs and impact Participation in continuous improvement initiatives to insure optimize utilization.
Communication with Maintenance group to develop an improved PM program Facilitate communication between processing and packaging teams to ensure effectiveness Other responsibilities as required or assigned.Job QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or related field preferred 3-5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing environment Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Strong organizational skills Ability to lead and coach in High Performance Work System environment
