Production Accounting Clerk (Non- Union) Job in Los Angeles 91406, California US
Job Description: Production Accountant (Non-Union)This position will be responsible for coding and tracking production invoices, assisting in production flash reports and assist in monthly close by booking journal entries.
Responsibilities:
Code and track production invoices
Provide weekly production flash schedules by gathering payment information from vendors
Reconcile petty cash and code miscellaneous invoices
Prepare and post month end journal entries
Be responsible for intercompany reconciliations
Provide quarterly detailing information about the balance sheet Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting or related career
2-3 years of experience in general accounting.
Experience in Production accounting preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Mathematical and analytical skills required; ability to define problems and collect data
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
Knowledge of SAP a plus
Must be able to manage a high volume of work
Knowledge of capitalized costs or inventory process
Bilingual (English and Spanish)
Must have unrestrictive work authorization to work in the US
