Position Summary The SecureWorks Product Marketing Manager position is a full-time role within the SecureWorks Product Marketing team.
The Product Marketing Managers responsibilities include developing messaging for SecureWorks services, understanding target buyers, creating and managing content, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives.
SecureWorks Product Marketing Manager is expected to be capable of managing tasks and functions with limited supervision and providing input to processes with an eye toward improved productivity.
There are two Product Marketing Manger positions available.
One supports the Manager Security Services line and the other supports the Security and Risk Consulting service line.
Preferred Technical Experience: Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Internet browsers (Internet Explorer, Mozilla/Firefox, etc.) Understanding of network and information security technologies (Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Security Information Management, etc.) Understanding of regulatory compliance and security standards (PCI, HIPAA, GLBA, ISO 27001, etc.) Essential Duties & Responsibilities Evaluate market needs and buyers for SecureWorks services Develop effective messaging for SecureWorks services Support content needs for marketing assets Provide standardized content to support sales and marketing Support training of sales staff and channel partners Additional Responsibilities Perform other essential duties as assigned Work with others as needed to support product marketing initiatives Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong written and verbal communications skills Team player with strong work ethic and eagerness to learn Comfortable with fast-paced environment and rapidly changing priorities.
Resourceful and well-organized Can work effectively with peers, management and internal and external business partners, prospects and clients High technical aptitude.
Understands information security and can learn about our services, technology and market requirements with minimal instruction Process driven.
Seeks continuous improvement of work processes to increase quality and productivity Ability to travel ~20% of the time Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in marketing, English, technology, journalism, communications, computer science or engineering required 2+ year product marketing experience preferred Pragmatic Marketing training preferred Information security knowledge and industry experience preferred *SecureWorks is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
