We are looking for an accomplished professional to be the next product/program manager as part of the Storage Test Business Unit.
The product/program manager will be responsible for the Neptune platform qualification and transition to production at customer sites.
The product/program manager will be the voice of engineering in front of the customer as well as will be asked to coordinate requirements and requests into the factory.
This position will require close integration with the field service engineering manager on priorities and day to day activities.
The product/program manager will be responsible for transitioning the customer to production in ASIA and recruit the local engineering team to ensure success.
In this role, the product/program manager will also be asked to interact at the technical level on equipment, throughput or yield issues as well as a coordinator for business issues.
Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a high volume manufacturing or test environment.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the HDD industry.
Ability to interact at all level of customer organizations both on technical side and customer management.
Demonstrated ability to work well in high pressure ramp environments.
BSEE with strong technical background (preferably in HDD industry); MSEE preferred.
Ability to travel (20-30%) to customer locations as well as production sites ( ASIA ).
Strong communications and synthesis skills as well as the ability to prioritize.
