EII is seeking a PLM Consultant for work in the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Some travel may be required, primarily to Alexandria, VA and Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of the basic principles behind PLM, and experience in the PLM systems.

The PLM Consultant will be responsible for providing PTC and SAP PLM-related consulting services for a large and complex organization, with a focus on PLM processes, standards, and other supporting information systems.

The candidate must be able to apply exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be a flexible, team-oriented individual.

The candidate must be adept at providing deployable solutions and superior work results for clients in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

The candidate must consistently produce high quality and timely work products and excel at working independently as well as being a member of a team.

Position Summary: This is a consulting position that involves customer interaction to support PLM business processes, to include leveraging best practices in the use of PLM systems.

The job also requires providing consulting services in the areas of product data standards, lifecycle business process management, and the design of enterprise PLM solutions.

Essential Duties: Support related consulting around PLM.Help customers identify and solve problems related to the alignment of PLM systems and technologies to business processes.

Provide general PLM and product data-related consulting support.

Assist clients in the Best Practices uses of PLM processes, standards and products.

Develop reports, white papers, presentations, demonstrations, and other deliverables as requested.

Required Experience: 6+ years of IT experience, preferably within PLM systemsProgram and/or project management experience.

Business process modeling experience and the design of PLM processes.

Experience in all aspects of PLM, to include product structures, engineering change, vaulting, and sustainment related PLM processes, including maintenance.

Experience in aligning PLM solutions with enterprise solutions, particularly those from SAP and PTC.Must be able to access government network and obtain security clearance.

Required Knowledge/Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management.

Program and/or project management skills.

Knowledge of enterprise solution environments for commercial and custom software solutions.

Ability to analyze problems and present solutions to management.

Ability to develop written reports and presentations that describe the work performed.

Knowledge of PLM processes and products.

Knowledge of PLM standards.

Educational Requirements: BS degree in Product Data Management, Information Systems, or related field.
