Ability to identify issues dealing with conflicting designs, unsuitability of conventional materials.Highly self-motivated, self-directed, team orientated, and exceptionally attentive to detail. Takes responsibility for the technical issues that affect the team and is involved in the identification &/or development of breakaway technologies.Proficient current industry software and Microsoft Office.Experience with ISTA packaging testing protocols.Experience working with external packaging suppliers to create designs that will comply with all international standards.General Skill Sets Req'dBSME with 10+ years related experience or MSME with 7+ years related experience.Able to read and interpret GD&T ASME Y14.5M-1994 dimensioning and tolerancing. Demonstrated knowledge of the limitations of all forms of current fabrication processes.Able to determine acceptable tolerance levels for each fabrication process. Demonstrated experience in design and manufacturing in a new product development environment.Demonstrated experience developing, evaluating and improving manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Project management experience (min 5 yrs) with PMP Certification preferred (Project Management Institute or equivalent).Experience (3 – 5 yrs) working in a regulated (ISO, FDA) manufacturing environment with a preference for new product introduction.Experience establishing supply chain strategies and their implementation.Experience in the project management and implementation of test equipment both internally and externally..Additional Information:Travel Percentage: 20%
