Pro SVCS Consultant Mobility Solutions Job in Northern, Virginia US
Job DescriptionSenior level consultant focusing on delivery of strategy, planning and solution design services targeting the extension of enterprise unified communications and line of business applications SW (SAP, Oracle, CRMs etc.) to mobile users and devices.
Delivers enterprise UC&C/Mobility consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final project close-out through medium to long term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.
Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.
Performance is evaluated based on billable hours and contractual deliverables.
Project activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring.
Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization.
Viewed by customers as a consultant and performance is measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours.
RequirementsStrong interpersonal and presentation skills.
5-8 years in mobile applications and infrastructure sales engineering or consulting including WiFii/3G networking infrastructures, mobile device architectures (ie iPhone, Blackberry, WindowsMobile, Android) and related mobile development tools and techniques.
In-depth understanding and insight into converged communications infrastructures, converged IP applications including VoIP, Fixed MobileConvergence (FMC), and Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) to include messaging, conferencing and underlying technologies (SIP, IMS, IPT, SBCs, etc.) Previous delivery of environmental analysis via interview, preparation of gap analysis in comparison to defined targets, and presentation of results and recommendations to executive/LOB leadership.
Previous experience in the delivery of mobilized line of business functionality or enterprise voice and collaboration feature in smart phone environments, Mobile applications development or integration experience with one or more of the following: SMS/MMS, WAP, BREW, C#, Java/Java ME, Visual Studio, Eclipse.
Familiarity with Mobile phone operating systems and development platforms for Blackberry, iPhone, WindowsMobile or Android.
Familiarity with a standard SDLC (Agile, RAD, Waterfall) processes.
Understanding of WebServices, SOAs,contemporary software frameworks (.
NET, Spring/Hibernate) and n-tier applications architectures.
Previous experience in development of business oriented mobile client software for extending enterprise line of business applications (ERP, CRM, retail or healthcare mobile applications).
Integration of software clients for SIP-based VoIP and Unified Communications.
Preferred certifications: Blackberry SDK, iPHONE Developer Microsoft MSCP, SQL Server, OCS, Sharepoint.
.NET compact framework CISCO CCIE UC Designation SAP/Oracle/JDEdwards/Remedy.
