Job Description: Raytheon is currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer I to join our Advanced Communication and Countermeasures Mission Assurance team at the Network Centric Systems (NCS) operation located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Raytheon NCS, headquartered in McKinney, Texas, develops and produces mission solutions for networking, command and control, battle space awareness, and air traffic management.

The successful candidate will provide support in a dynamic engineering and development environment.

Roles and responsibilities will include: Contract review Create and implement the program quality plan Define, document, and flow down supplier requirements Plan and lead supplier assessment activities Participate in Peer Reviews of program work products including program plans, specifications, drawings, test plans Verify and accept work products prior to release Conduct process/product audits and inspections.

Perform test witness Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives Monitor corrective/preventive action systems Effectively interact with engineering and program management Advise/consult management and customer on quality initiatives or issues Required Skills: Minimum 8 years of experience in the Hardware Quality Assurance field Familiarity with ISO 9001:2000 and/or AS9100/AS9006 Quality Systems Experience implementing quality improvement initiatives Experience with hardware development processes, systems engineering methodologies and test techniques Experience conducting quality assessments/inspections of developed hardware and processes Experience with Material Review Board, Configuration Control Board processes Ability to receive a security clearance Minimum 8 years of experience in the Hardware Quality Assurance field Familiarity with ISO 9001:2000 and/or AS9100/AS9006 Quality Systems Experience implementing quality improvement initiatives Experience with hardware development processes, systems engineering methodologies and test techniques Experience conducting quality assessments/inspections of developed hardware and processes Experience with Material Review Board, Configuration Control Board processes Ability to receive a security clearance Desired Skills MBA/MS Active security clearance Military experience a plus Familiarity with the SEI Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI).
