Principal Oracle Database Administrator Job in Albany 31705, Georgia US

CTC has a full-time opening for a Principal Oracle Database Administrator at its Albany, Georgia location.
PRINCIPAL ORACLE DATABASE ADMINISTRATORThe Principal Oracle DBA installs, supports, administers and maintains an Oracle environment in support of a 24/7 Data Center.
Develop and implement database enhancements, and maintain adequate quality management standards and procedures to ensure the system is maintained in a compliant state, with optimal system uptime and performance.
Develop and update procedures for database maintenance and administration, including change and system management.
Ensure the security and integrity of the database and data.
Collaborate with IT team members, other groups and departments in the assessment of system changes and resolution of system related issues.
Interface with senior management and external personnel on significant technical matters requiring coordination between organizations.
Participate in the design and implementation of IT projects of a significant level of complexity.
Submit weekly database and Unix/Windows team updates to management on weekly basis.
Represent entire Operations group in all hands meeting and provide status updates to the client.The selected applicant must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field with 9 or more years of experience or Master of Science degree with 7 or more years of experience.
He/She must have technical expertise and experience with Unix/Linux Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), including design and specification, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and implementation and maintenance of operational and quality documentation for the system.
Working knowledge of Oracle Application Server (OAS) or BEA Weblogic is required.
The preferred candidates must be willing to work a flexible schedule as needed at client location.
Qualified candidate must have US citizenship and Security Clearance.
