Pricing Analyst Job in Englewood 07631, New Jersey US
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform updates on ALL Program Ops' data-banks deriving from multiple data sources including but not limited to AS400 (Sunrise), SMARTool, SQLServer, and multiple databases throughout the organization, on an ongoing basis.
Assist with monthly reporting procedures of Divisional Usage (Divuse) for Staples Advantage Enterprise Accounts deriving from the AS400 (Sunrise) platform.
Identify and implement process improvements that enhance and/or automate the reporting capabilities currently maintained by Program Ops while maintaining accuracy, and avoiding any duplication of effort.
Assist with the management of product information deriving from various sources including Staples internal departments, vendor community and external competitor data.
Proactively interpret and implement new information and/or changes into our data-banks.
Assist in any future ad-hoc projects directly related to streamlining existing processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Working knowledge of Relational database concepts: MS AccessMS SQL Server (preferred)
Advanced MS Excel experience: Complex formulas, Macros, Functions
Experience with VBA, Visual Basic or VB.net a plusForms, Modules, MS Office Automation
Basic knowledge of distribution businessGeneral understanding of business processes
Organizational and communication skillsexperience with organization and time managementMust exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
