Pre & Post Systems Engineer Job in Job location not provided
Position OverviewModis is seeking a Technical Pre & Post Sales Engineer in Houston TX with superior application development expertise, database & Linux skills, business knowledge, and customer interfacing and level one technical support experience.
This position is with cutting edge technology company that provides scaleable cloud computing solutions.
Required SkillsPrimary Technology - Linux, Secondary - database connectivity MySQL, Third - Storage background5-8 years of post-sales experience.
Experience with system design and implementation specifically database connectivity and Linux (storage background is a huge plus).
Experienced in Ongoing Level One Support.
Strong programming skills in OOD (Object Oriented Design).
Ability to quickly understand customer requirements and work with customer's development team to develop solutions.
Consulting experience is a big plus.
Good presentation skills, project management skills, and customer interaction skills.
Strong communication skills, along with the vision and self-motivation necessary to create and ensure success.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales support through technical and business level presentations and product demonstrations.
Design and implement proof of concept/pilot projects.
On-site delivery of installation, training and consulting services.
Design and implement client requested customizations and extensionsArchitect and design client implementations of their products.
Assist clients in the integration and deployment their productsProvide ongoing production supportBuild and manage long-term client relationships.
CompensationCompensation will be commensurate with experience and will consist of base salary and equity in the form of stock options.
