In this role you will maintain the physical structure and associated equipment of the hospital in good repair.
Your primary duties will include electrical work, mechanical repairs, maintaining plumbing systems and scheduled preventive maintenance.
Must be able to read blueprints, interpret instructions, prepare specifications, know how to use/maintain plant tools/equipment and have a working knowledge of fire alarms, signal systems and all security codes.
Responsibilities: Perform tasks in a professional manner to reflect the highest integrity of the Engineering DepartmentAssist in maintaining/repairing HVAC controls and equipment to maximize efficiencyMaintain electrical wiring and emergency generator systems; inspect and test equipment and systemsPreventive maintenance on physical structures of the hospital, including facility equipment and associated controls, must comply with all building safety codesAssist in replacing, installing, repairing and testing electrical circuits, equipment, appliances and lighting systemsKeep routine records on inspections, preventive maintenance and equipment or systems repairs as accomplishedMay be asked to move supplies or furniture, replace light bulbs, remove trash or scrap material Plant Operations MechanicPlant Operations EngineerPlant Operations Associate A High School diploma or GED is required with 3 - 6 months of related experience or training.
Must have current Driver's License.
