We are currently seeking a Plant Administrative Assistant for our site in Gary, IN.In this opportunity, the successful candidate will provide on-site administrative support to the Gary site, reporting to the Site Manager.
Typical duties include payroll entry, recording billing hours and tonnages to an Excel spreadsheet, preparing monthly invoicing to our customer, coordination with regional purchasing, assisting with onsite human resource duties, recordkeeping and reporting to assist onsite managers, knowledge of JDE in purchasing and recordkeeping, and other administrative duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications include: - High School diploma.
- Minimum of 2+ years experience in an administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications include: - Associates degree or equivalent- Five or more years experience in administrative support in manufacturing or other industrial environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects as the same time in a deadline oriented environment.
