Planner Job in Littleton 01460, Massachusetts US
High-tech manufacturing company in Littleton, MA is looking for an experienced Planner.The ideal candidate will be able to handle the following responsibilities: -Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle-Supports new product integration into the business including new part planning parameters-Perform detailed scheduling and manage timely release of production orders to shop floor-Utilizes engineering demands and production schedules to maintain inventory levels-Identifies and resolves issues affecting schedules such as overdues & shortages, etc,.
-Inputs and maintains forecasts and schedules for Master Production Schedule Products-Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Production and Purchasing to ensure demands are metDesired Experience & Skill Levels: -BS Degree or equivalent work experience-APICS certification preferred (but not necessary)-Experience with any MRP-2 system-Experience with SAP preferred-Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on Planning experience preferred-Good communication and interpersonal skills-Minimum intermediate level skill using MS Office & ExcelThis position is available on a contract to direct basis for immediate hire.
