Planner/Buyer Job in Haverhill 01835, Massachusetts US
For over half a century APEM has been setting the standard in the design and manufacture of quality switch products.
APEM manufactures switches, joysticks and membrane switch panels for diversified markets including; instrumentation, medical, telecom, industrial automation, avionics, defense and transport.
APEM is looking for a hands-on Planner/Buyer to work in their Haverhill, Massachusetts facility.
In this position, the candidate will be responsible for: Planning and scheduling manufacturing line for membrane operation assembly.
Meeting manufacturing schedules to customer requirements.
Planning and purchasing all necessary components for the operation including tooling, services, outside assemblies and supplies.
Quoting all new products, in coordination with design engineer and customers.
In addition, the position will require a heavy interface with APEMs inside technical sales organization as well as APEMs outside sales team.
Job Requirements: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years in manufacturing planning and/or purchasing.
APICS Certification / CPIM Certification desired.
Must be detail oriented with good organizational and communication skills.
Membrane manufacturing experiences a plus.
