DepartmentSupply ChainProjectThis position is responsible for the accurate forecasting of finished goods at the item, store and product grouping level for the Swarovski Retail Ventures Limited.
Monitors inventory flow into stores from central distribution center to insure optimal efficiency of store receiving processes and highest levels of store profitability; recommends adjustments to logistics flow for store and total supply chain efficiency.
Tasks- Provides support to manager in creating rolling forecast by item considering history, trend, promotional activity and strategic direction for core, new and seasonal product launches.
- With Manager, Merchandise Planning, evaluates forecast accuracy and implements learnings into future forecasts.
- Participates in inventory allocation decision making in cases of supply constraints.
- Monitors inventory flow into stores from central distribution center to insure optimal efficiency of store receiving processes and highest levels of store profitability; recommends adjustments to logistics flow for store and total supply chain efficiency.
- Reviews store inventory levels to ensure optimization of stock to sales ratios.
- Works in partnership with Distribution Strategy Team to develop and execute well thought out product placement by store/store grouping.
Will utilize Clustering and Allocation tools to plan adequate product levels by store.
- Reviews opportunities for store to store transfers to balance store level demand and supply.
- Recommends special inventory stocking opportunities at specific retail stores and facilitates possible redistribution of special inventory to other stores, as needed.
- Travel to stores from time to time as necessary to best understand store level needs and determine solutions to supply chain issues.
- Creates and maintains strong cross-functional relationships throughout company (particularly retail store operations management, customer order management, demand/supply planning, fulfillment operations, retail accounting group, sales planning group, and product management group- With Swarovski Online product/marketing group, monitors inventory levels and initiates supply actions as required.
