We are currently accepting applications for Staff Physical Therapists for our facility(s).Job Description: Physical TherapistThe Staff Physical Therapist develops treatment plans, evaluates and treats patients (young adult, middle adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses) based on physician referral, communicates with families, physicians, and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
In addition, the Physical Therapist will conduct in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis, provide guidance and supervision to PTAs, collaborate with the Rehabilitation Director regarding patient and/or staff education needs and may serve on or participate in various committee meetings with interdisciplinary teams as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must possess the following: ·Graduate of an accredited college or university with a Bachelors (or Masters) Degree in Physical Therapy·Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy License (or scheduled exam date)·CPR certification required ·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal ·Able to work both independently and in a team environment to maintain appropriate case load New England Rehabilitation Hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package for full-time and part-time employees including 401 (k), paid time off programs, medical, dental and vision insurance as well as voluntary disability and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, free on-site parking and much more!
