Pharmacy Technician Job in Serra Mesa, California US
Location This position is located in Serra Mesa.
Hours 8-hour shift; 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, no weekends.
Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required.
California Pharmacy Technician licensure required.
Good computer skills required.
10-key by touch required.
Knowledge of contracted third parties' formularies and plan limitations.
Summary Ability to interpret, process and fill prescriptions: Understanding of apothecary and metric system of weights and measures, pharmaceutical calculations, trade and generic names, dosages and indications.
Physical Requirements Ability to stand 7-8 hours daily, hear and speak clearly over the telephone, visual acuity to read fine print and computer screens.
