Pharmacy Technician&IV Specialist. FT pos. Job location& Chicago, IL. Duties& prepare & label parenteral products, IV admixtures, antineoplastic medications following strict aseptic technique in manipulation of ampoules, vials, syringes, bottles, & bags; perform measurements & complete mathematical calculations for preparing parenterals; utilize automix compounding device; stock & maintain IV rm, injection medications & supplies; clean & maintain equip & work areas; monitor inventory, perform computer entry, process orders; communicate w& patients & health care providers. HS diploma & 1 yr of exp as pharmacy technician&IV specialist reqd. Eligibility for licensure in the State of Illinois. 40hpw. Annual salary range $25,700-$26,700.
