Major Activities: - Meet and exceed sales projections - Make a minimum of 75 quality sales calls per month(including cold calls) - Present Company educational in-services to broad array of healthcare providers - Identify and target A, B and C accounts with plans to grow the Healthcare providers business - Based on A, B and C account targeting, allocate time and call frequency - Generate a minimum of 20 prospects each month - Budget appropriate number of calls on prospects versus customers - Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts - Increase market share by calling on alternative and mainstream healthcare provider markets - Sell comprehensive nervous system based intervention (laboratory tests and products) - Educate customer on product and services information via in-services - Continually learn new product and testing knowledge and demonstrate competency via assessments - Constantly strive to improve selling skills - Be aware of competition and related issues - Attend and actively participate in sales meetings, seminars and trade shows o Follow required representation guidelines for trade show and seminar presence Time Management: - Work a full-time, five-day week - Travel overnight as necessary and within budgetary constraints - Utilize laptops and cellular phones and other technology as needed - Maximize percent of time in front of customers - Minimize travel time - Utilize internal resources to meet sales goals - Call on accounts in clusters Self-Organization- Plan and maximize each day, week and month to exceed sales goals - Pre-call plan each appointment - Dress professionally and present professional image - After each call complete customer information in CRM Administrative- Maintain customer profiles - Submit the following in a timely manner: call reports, sales plans, forecasts, expense reports and monthly calendars - Communicate competitive market information to manager - Complete and submit new account set up forms the same day information is gathered - Maximize time management by utilizing information technology - Analyze and monitor data and reports Company Relationships- Comply with all company policies and operate within the expense budget given - Work and communicate with all divisions of the company as needed - Communicate effectively and cooperate with your fellow salespeople and management QualificationsBachelor's Degree (Sales, marketing, or other business related degree with experience in medical sales) or BS in biochemistry or biology with accompanying 3 years work experience in medical sales.
