Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device Business Development Director Job in Multiple locations
Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device Business Development DirectorAward-winning pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device interactive agency providing cutting-edge multimedia services to major clients in the US and abroad needs experienced Business Development Directors in the Boston, NJ/Philadelphia, San Francisco and Chicago markets.
With proprietary programs and a growing list of top-tier clients, we are one of the fastest growing companies in the industry! Agency and pharmaceutical experience preferably within an interactive agency or medical education environment are required.
Overview Identifies, pursues and closes business opportunities with potential and existing customers.
This role relies on the creation of consultative relationships with customers through extensive experience and knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing strategies.
The Business Development Director builds business relationships that lead to the close of profitable deals and long-term partnerships.
In addition to pharma, biotech and/or medical device experience, the role requires an in-depth understanding of the latest trends in digital communication.
A wide degree of creativity is expected in order to bring our innovative solutions to new clients and expand on our existing relationships.
Attributes
At least 5 years of demonstrated success in pharmaceutical sales or business development roles
Experience or strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Biotech industries
Experience in strategic, consultative, and/or conceptual selling
Familiar with the sales concepts, practices, and procedures of pharma marketing
Experience in presenting to and interacting with senior management
Proven ability to develop and grow customer relationships
Strong interpersonal skills
Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Bachelors degree required
Knowledge of multimedia and interactive technologies/applications
Previous success in a fastpaced, team-focused environment with a proven ability to multi-taskCompensation
Base salary commensurate with experience of $100K+ along with an aggressive commission plan for unlimited earning potential.
