Perioperative Analyst Job in Charlestown, Massachusetts US
Work closely with end-users to define business needs and to develop IT strategies and solutions for MGH Perioperative Applications.
Strategies and solutions must comply with Partners IS standards and strategic directions.
The perioperative areas that will be supported by this individual include: Surgical SchedulingPre-Surgical ScreeningOR Supply Management: Preference Card and Pick List Development and MaintenanceIntraoperative Clinical DocumentationPerioperative Patient TrackingPerioperative ReportingUser Access and SecurityPlan, manage, and oversee projects, utilizing recognized project management methodology and performing activities such as: definition of project scope and objectives, current and future state Workflow AnalysisRequirements definition, system testing / quality assurance, User Training'Go-Live' Support, post-implementation / on-going support, project administrative activities and documentationEnsure completion of all work assignments in accordance with an established project timelineProvide project-specific direction and guidance to project team members to facilitate timely and quality resultsProvide on-going project status reports to internal IS management, user groups, and project steering committee as appropriateFunction as an individual contributor and team player within our client and the hospital community at largeProvide quality customer service and serve as an exemplary representative of our client's Information SystemsOn-going communication, feedback, and follow-through with customers / peers are essentialPerform other duties as assignedPerioperative Analyst Qualifications - (MUST be realistic, neither overstated nor understated, and related to the essential function of the job): Bachelor's Degree is requiredCurrent registration in nursing or a related clinical specialty is desirable, but not required3-5 years of experience in clinical information systems are preferredExperience in Perioperative systemsSurgical SchedulingPre-Surgical Screening
