Performance Improvement Manager-Compliance Specialist* Job in New York, New York US
Assists with Performance Improvement activities for the Community Services Programs eg Day Care, Solutions at Home, HAPI, Transportation and Home Care.
This includes implementing Federal, State, Local, JCAHO and CARF accreditation requirements.
Reviews clinical documentation to ensure compliance with agency, regulatory, and reimbursement standards.
Offers staff support for implementation of performance improvement initiatives, including individual and group training sessions.
Serves as the Compliance Specialist for the Community Services Division.
Implement performance improvement initiatives.
Develop action plans and strategies for their implementation.
Asses the effectiveness of performance improvement interventions.
Assists in conducting and analyzing quarterly Staff Satisfaction Survey and Patient and Referral Source Satisfaction Survey annually.
Monitor adherence to regulatory and industry standards and implement measures to maintain compliance.
Serve as a resource to staff for educational needs, providng training as needed.
Maintain resources and library of information for use of the department.
Maintain relevant statistics as they pertain to regulatory compliance.
Update and revise policies and procedures to reflect governmental regulations, licensure, contract obligations and other standards as needed.
Conducts audits, reviews and investigations abiding with all governing rules of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.
Maintain confidentiality and privacy of clients/patients and visitors and staff.
Skills/Requirements BS degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
Healthcare experience in data and system analysis with proven outcome enhancement; experience with automated systems and proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
