Performance Improvement Director* Job in Westchester, New York US
The Director of Performance Improvement is responsible for the continued excellence of Sarah Neuman Center for Healthcare/Westchester Jewish Home Lifecare division.
The Director reports directly to the Nursing Home Administrator and responsibilities include: developing and maintaining systems for coordinating all resources towards a facility-wide approach to the design, measurement, assessment and improvement of processes that impact quality of care.
You will also work with staff to create a culture of excellence fostering community based teams in the process of organizational improvement; identify areas of opportunity, design data collection tools and translate outcome data into meaningful strategies for improvement Skills/Requirements Bachelor's Degree in nursing or related field, 3-5 years experience in a LTC setting required.
NYS RN license required.
Some experience in quality improvement a plus.
You must also possess outstanding interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
Prior experience as a Nursing Supervisor or Assistant Director of Nursing in a long term care setting highly desirable.
