PeopleSoft System Administrator Job in Reston, Virginia US
We are looking for a PeopleSoft System Administrator for our client in Northern Virginia.The Peoplesoft System Administrator role requires knowledge of core areas in system administration of the PeopleSoft application and web server tiers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for administration, installation, and upgrade of PeopleSoft Tools and Applications.
Responsible for providing daily system support and maintenance on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, CRM, Portal, and EPM applications.
Responsible for PeopleSoft infrastructure installations and configurations.
Responsible for executing PeopleSoft patch management, bundles, and fixes across various PeopleSoft environment instances.
Responsible for environment creation, database refreshes, change management, migration of objects/code, performance tuning and production support.
Responsible for monitoring application and web server tiers running on VMWare ESX Server.
Collaborate with other support groups (eg DBA, Platform, etc.) to establish proper support of Peoplesoft applications per corporate mandates.
Qualifications:
Must have 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator for PeopleSoft projects.

8. 50 experience with a strong understanding of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture on a Windows/Linux/Oracle platform
Must have strong knowledge and understanding of PeopleSoft integration tools like Integration Broker, messaging, Component Interface, etc.
Bachelors degree required
3-5 years industry experience
Demonstrated knowledge in PeopleSoft application and architecture
Experience in Quest STAT change management tool is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
PeopleSoft certification is a plus
