The Finance Department is responsible for all aspects of billing and collection activities for the Skilled Nursing Facility, including the cashiering function and Medicaid application and recertification processing.The Finance Manager is responsible for all administrative aspects of the Patient Accounts function including the day to day supervision and management of the Patient Accounts Department staff with emphasis on accounts receivable follow-up, which includes staff performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions; budget and reporting functions.
Development and evaluation of staff, systems and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity and meet and exceed established goals.
Responsible for ensuring staff are trained and follow procedures which ensure compliance with government rules and regulations and maximize staff productivity and departmental efficiencies.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, required.
Minimum of four (4) years progressive, related finance or accounting experience, including supervisory experience, required.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Must have ability to manage multiple priorities.
Must have PC proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
Experience with ADL billing system and electronic commercial billing.At least five years in SNF Billing/Finance preferred.
