Program Manager - SpaceDUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Industry Segment Marketing Conceive, justify, communicate and lead implementation of the company's future market growth plans (long term marketing objectives) with regards to products, services and field sales in assigned industry segment.
Research, analyze and monitor the technological, demographic and market trends, which may affect the present and future product needs.
Analyze and define the industry segment for the company's product growth and life cycle.
Define total market, company market share, competitor market share, and available market share for assigned industry segments.
Provide information on: Competition, Major opportunities, and/or Product line demand.
Responsible for product specific support and positioning Travel domestically and internationally to participate in industry events, meet with customers to promote Hypertronics capabilities, conduct business and technical reviews and presentations.
Key Account Management Coordinate sales and marketing activities for the assigned Gold Account(s) and strategic segment(s).
Contribute to sales tools for customer meetings and product launches (presentations, competitive information, training materials).
Establish and maintain high level relationships with Gold account(s) and strategic segment management teams.
Develop knowledgebase for Gold account(s) and strategic segment including but not limited to key account maps, key program lists, program applications, shipset values and leverage to the sales group Visit Gold Account(s) and strategic segment customer locations to promote products, answer questions, identify and support closure of immediate opportunities.
Coordinate ongoing communications with Sales as they apply to the Gold Account(s) and strategic segments.
Input to Business Development Director and Design Engineering Director relative to priority setting on engineering projects for relevant products/technologies.
Drive, coordinate and participate in conferences, exhibitions, web and advertising activities.
Become the corporate spokesperson for the Gold Accounts, Product, and/or Strategic Segment.
Help generate Hypertronics brand awareness through relationships with the publishing media (both online and printed).
Collect, communicate and coordinate the forecasting effort for the global Gold Account(s) and strategic segment.
Set/review customer-specific pricing (contract negotiation, review).
