PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER Job in 43614
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER Brazeway, Inc., a leading extruder of aluminum tubing and manufacturer of fabricated heat transfer components for the refrigeration, HVAC and automotive industries, has an immediate opening for a Product Development Engineer at our Corporate Headquarters in Adrian.
Responsibilities: Develop new and innovative product designs, bringing customer-focused, cost effective products and processes to market, with a focus on heat transfer products for the refrigeration and HVAC markets.
Manage new product implementations from concept through production launch and process sign off. Drive cost reductions through innovative product designs.
Provide technical support to customers and Brazeway sales force.
Manage designs and drive continuous improve-ment throughout the product life cycle.
Assure Brazeway is up to date on advanced technologies throughout the industry, as well as industry and government trends and regulations.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
Additionally, a Masters degree with a focus on heat transfer, or 3-5 years experience in the refrigeration industry in lieu of a Masters Degree required.
Knowledge of APQP tools, Six Sigma, and Solidworks or similar program are strong assets.
Willingness to travel to our manufacturing facilities, customers and suppliers.
Excellent communication, presentation, people, computer and written skills.
Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus.
