*TELECOMMUTE OPPORTUNITY* Job Summary Placement on the Point of Sale (POS) Development team with a focus on Sabre Scribe technology in an effort to increase agent productivity and decrease errors. Responsible for POS version control and upgrades as required. Respond to industry changes that affect the POS standard packages. Establish a proactive approach to addressing and solving customer challenges at the POS. Specific skill to include programming experience Sabre Scribe language. Experience with Qik and Web Services integration desired. Ability to decipher, measure and report return on investment opportunities that contribute to the ITTS POS team goals RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE * Must be proficient with Sabre Scribe * Program and customize POS code for automation initiatives * Provide a proactive and consultative approach to POS development; design solutions that increase agent productivity while decreasing errors * Create and enhance existing POS library including testing and posting of new versions * Participate in "scope of work" and ROI for new project requests and technology solutions * Work with other technology teams and industry suppliers to evaluate best practices and implementation of technology solutions * Ability to prioritize work and work independently * Analyze GDS host functionality updates to determine impact * Special projects as needed MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Transferable Skills (Competencies) * Proficient with Sabre Scribe programming language. * Experience with Worldspan ScriptPro desired. * Complete understanding of mid-office systems, back office systems, fulfillment, and online procedures * Strong customer service, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision * Proficient in Windows software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Professional manner and appearance Qualifications * 3+ years experience programming Sabre Scribe * 3+ years travel reservations and process experience * English & Spanish speaking and writing fluency * Experience with Worldspan ScriptPro desired * Web Services Qik integration desired * Ability to travel as needed * Excellent verbal & written communication skills Salary will be commensurate with experience.
